What to Expect
Join us on the Sailing Sunset Tour with Dinner on board from Caldera’s Boats and get ready to be enchanted by some of Santorini’s most iconic sights.

Our journey begins at the magnificent volcano, where you’ll have the chance to hike to its summit. Enjoy stunning volcanic views along the way — this hike involves moderate physical effort. We suggest wearing comfortable shoes, a sun hat, and bringing water to stay hydrated during the approximately 1.5-hour trek. Don’t forget your camera to capture these incredible panoramas!

Next, we’ll head to the famous hot springs, known for their healing properties. Spend around 30 minutes swimming in these sulfur-rich waters. Please note that reaching the shore requires swimming about 30-40 meters, so basic swimming ability is necessary.

As the sun starts to set, we’ll anchor near Thirasia Bay for a delicious dinner on board. Delight in a flavorful menu featuring chicken fillet with mustard sauce and vegetables, meatballs in rich tomato sauce, rice, boiled veggies, fresh bread, Greek salad, tzatziki (a traditional yogurt, garlic, and cucumber sauce), seasonal fruits, and Chalvas, a classic Greek dessert. • Volcano visit (1 hour 30 minutes) : Duration: About 1 hour 30 minutes

• Hot Springs swim (30 minutes) : Enjoy a 30-minute swim in the therapeutic sulfur-rich waters. Basic swimming skills are necessary, as you’ll need to swim about 30-40 meters to reach the shore. Remember to bring your own towels and avoid wearing silver jewelry, which can oxidize because of the sulfur. For the best experience, wear dark-colored swimsuits to prevent any staining. Feel the rejuvenating benefits of these warm, natural waters.

What’s the difference between the “with pick up” and “without pick up” options?

The main distinction lies in the tour’s starting location and the ease of transportation.

Choosing the “without pick up” option means the tour starts at Fira’s old port. To get there, guests have two options: take the cable car (costing 10 euros each way) or walk down about 588 steps, which takes roughly 30 minutes. Once at the port, guests need to find our office, Santo Star – Old Port, where a representative will exchange tickets and guide them to the boat. It’s important to note that no vehicles can access the port directly, so guests with cars must park in one of Fira’s two parking lots first. From the parking area, they can either walk to the cable car station or take the path leading down to the old port.

In contrast, the “with pick up” option offers greater convenience. Guests choosing this will begin their tour at Athinios port, bypassing Fira’s old port entirely. Pick-up times depend on the selected pick-up location. This option eliminates the need to use the cable car or walk down steps. Upon arriving at Athinios port, guests will be grouped by language, and the tour will start from there.

If I choose the pick-up option, will you pick me up from my hotel?

Unfortunately, no. We have designated pick-up points, and you can select the one nearest to your hotel. If you’re unsure which pick-up point is closest, just let us know your hotel name, and we’ll help you find the best option!

What is your cancellation policy?

Cancellations made more than 24 hours before the tour start time will receive a full refund. Any cancellations within 24 hours of the excursion’s start time are non-refundable.
